There is so much being written about who is the right person for the President's post.A.P.J Abdul Kalam has opted out of the fray but here is a poem I penned on him when he was the President of India.What a great personality,truly inspiring!
A patriotic Indian,a man with vision,
APJ Abdul Kalam,his intellect is legion.
'Simple living,high thinking' is what he believes,
The future of India in the youngsters he sees.
A literary genius,who loves home-cooked food,
With presidential duties, he has no time to brood.
A pure academician and intellect at heart,
Clear,impartial thinking sets him apart.
An able administrator,a rocket scientist beyond par,
From a developing nation he spread India's glory afar!
He inspired students through his splendid literary works,
It's he who gave us Agni and Prithvi when nuclear threat lurks.
Strong,powerful hands the reins of India hold,
Slowly,steadily steering her to be a nation bold.
In this world of today,India will surely rise,
Be a power to reckon with,irrespective of size!
