F for Food,Glorious Food!

"Foodgasm, you have acute foodgasm major"
Said my doctor with a serious face,
"You live to eat, not eat to live"
Said he, to my utter disgrace!

I have become a brinjal round,
From a figure like an okra lean,

From this to a gigantic potato?

That remains to be seen!

The Facebook and Instagram food pics,
They are the culprits to blame,
They entice and make me salivate,
Make me gorge without any shame!

Food has always been my passion,
As far as I can remember,
I enjoy food in every season or festival,
Be it January or December!

Chicken with barbecue sauce,
Or a gooey chocolaty cake,
Three cheese pizza or pasta
Or a yummy red velvet freak-shake!

With so many varied choices,
My mind is always on debate,
I choose and satiate my food urge,
Knowing it will tell on my weight!

Alas, if only I could have my way,

And eat away whatever I wish,
Without adding kilo,inch or gram,
I could savor every delectable dish!

But, that my friends, is not to be,
So my acute foodgasm is here to stay,
And since I can't say no to good food,
I'll binge away gleefully, come what may!
