C for Courage

Courage to speak your mind,
Courage to do what you must,
Courage to seek new goals,
Courage to pursue what you lust.

Leaving behind your fears,
Getting up after each fall,
Enriching the lives around you,
Wearing your crown and walking tall.

Not sitting on the proverbial fence,
 But supporting who or what is right,
Even when you know you will fail,
Not giving up without a fight.

Untethered by narrow prejudices,
Judgemental you never are,
Herd mentality and biased views,
You stay from such vices afar.

Courage to live your life as you please,
 Courage to swim against the tide,
Courage to question the do's and dont's,
Courage to be yourself,not hide!
